A time-based artwork born of text from platter recipes, dishes nurtured within communal life. The universal act of preparing food together for a large gathering softens, fragments, or may disappear entirely as family and communities change. A reflection on what is lost in the pursuit of a different life, and what continues to resonate through the rituals we choose to carry forward.
Drawing on distortion, born from the repeated translation and reinterpretation that underpins House of Baby’s creative practice.
