This work showcases the fusion of two double basses that are positioned around a central bass, all played with mallets. The performers delve into a realm of experimental sounds, exploring the unique combination of string and wooden percussive tones. The central bass, positioned upright, takes on a pivotal role by performing material characterized by broader gestures rather than specific pitches.
